Maryam Bandukda researches technologies to enhance open space experiences of blind and partially sighted people. During the exhibition, we'll also be encouraging visitors to explore the Mile End park and immerse in the multisensory environment. For our blind and partially sighted visitors, we'll be creating hand held 3D printed tactile maps of the park area around The Art Pavillion to give them a better idea of the layout of the space. Here's an initial prototype of the tactile map.
